Description

The purpose of the job is to implement and enforce corporate directives and policies within the division. The job holder is responsible for Preventive Maintenance of network, Augmentation/revamping of existing network and Construction of Network, team Management among other responsibilities. Description of Responsibility 1. Functions/ Operations • In-charge for coordinating business operations in division. • Responsible for establishing and developing customer service standards and policies.. • Must ensure that their employees meet their goals and deliverable deadlines. • Manage the communication and facilitate interdepartmental cooperation and shared work and is also responsible for handling all intercompany disputes and conflicts and must establish policies for resolving personnel issues. • Responsible for developing department policies for achieving all company goals. • Ensure Operation & Maintenance of distribution lines (11 KV, 33 KV, 66 KV) • Site Survey, Construction and Inspection of distribution network (HT, LT) & distribution transformers • Testing of power transformer, CT, PT, LA, Isolator, Circuit Breaker, HT & LT power panel. • Taking ownership in 5S, Safety TPM activity & Energy Management. 2. Division Related • Preventive Maintenance of network (defining process, scheduling, ordering and execution) • Augmentation/ revamping of existing network (analyzing present feeder loading, planning for network reorganization, scheme preparation, Ordering & execution, updating in GIS) • Construction of Network (site survey for selection of routes, scheme preparation, material planning, ordering and execution, Updating in GIS) • Site Survey for Technical Feasibility for New Service, Load Augmentation & reduction, shifting of services etc. • Attending Breakdowns & Consumer Complaints. • HT & LT network revamping replacing existing PCC with STP poles, replacing bare conductor/ ABC with XLPE cables, installing anti-theft junction boxes, shifting meter box outside of the consumer premises, replacing faulty meters etc. • Coordination with different administrative departments of government. • Survey & monitoring execution of single point to multipoint conversion. • Recommendation for new network/ 33 kV substation to Project department considering the future load growth of the respective division 3. Analysis Report • Ensure timely formation of reports such as: • Monthly MIS report • Outage report (Daily, monthly and quarterly) • Shutdown Analysis report (Routine/ Planned shutdown) • Daily load Curve Analysis (Demand/ Load pattern) • Average Supply report • Demand parameter report 4. Self/ Team Development • Review and monitor performance of team members’ and provide requisite developmental support/ inputs • Recommend training as required for team’s development • Develop the team and update their knowledge base to cater the organization need • Strategize avenues for enhancing employee satisfaction in the function, resulting in high engagement levels of employees

Requirements
