Description

Desired Profile • Highly experienced and dynamic professional to lead the Network Management function within the Operations Department. • The candidate will be responsible for overseeing the efficient operation, maintenance, and performance optimization of the power distribution network. • The role involves managing grid reliability, network automation, outage management, and implementing best practices in network operations to ensure seamless electricity distribution. Role Description • Support real-time monitoring of the power distribution network to ensure stable and safe power supply. • Assist in grid operations, load balancing, and outage response activities. • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) for routine maintenance and emergency handling. • Record, update, and analyze operational data related to faults, outages, and restorations. • Work closely with senior engineers and supervisors to learn best practices in network management. • Coordinate with field teams for restoration of services and basic technical inspections. • Support initiatives aimed at reducing technical losses and improving service delivery. • Ensure compliance with safety standards and company guidelines during fieldwork. • Participate in training programs to develop technical skills and operational knowledge.

Key Skills & Competencies • Experience in power distribution network operations, with a strong understanding of grid management and automation. • Strong leadership and team management skills with experience in handling large operational teams. • In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements, safety standards, and industry best practices in power distribution. • Experience in managing outage restoration, fault analysis, and loss reduction initiatives. • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills. • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
